Bonnie Koch Memorial

Very rarely do you meet an individual like Bonnie Koch much less get to work with one for more than 25 years. Bonnie began her career with Sweeney Chevrolet Buick GMC as an accounts payable clerk back when our dealership was known as State Chevrolet and was on Wick Avenue. Eventually, she worked her way up to Assistant Office Manager. Tragically, in 2016, Bonnie lost her battle with cancer.

Bonnie was incredibly dedicated to her work and all of her fellow members of Team Sweeney and was always willing to lend a helping hand. Everyone who worked with Bonnie also knew that she was the office clown and could always make anyone laugh.

Bonnie was a graduate of Youngstown State University and a proud member of the YSU Penguin Club. She loved Penn State, the Youngstown Phantoms and was a major lover of Disney World, a place she visited once a year.

Bonnie's legacy lives on through the Lion's Club "Coats for Kids". Her dedication to the program began with her father and she carried on the tradition throughout her life.
