Performance, before looks.

The 2020 Chevrolet Corvette C8 is a show stopper. The vehicle that's revolutionizing super cars not only in performance, but in design. When Chevrolet began the design process of this car over 60 years ago, they used precision as their starting line.

The all new mid-engine is precise and powerful and has completely been redesigned with no shared component parts to previous generations...except the door latch. The 2020 Mid-Engine Corvette is literally like no other Corvette that has ever been built.

Not only is the design of the 2020 Chevrolet Corvette gorgeous, but it's functional. Chevrolet has completely hidden the door handles, hatch, and hood releases to keep the apperance clean and improve aerodynamics. In Couple models, you can view the engine through a rear hatch window. In convertible models, the engine is accessible while in service mode. The performance package adds carbon-fiber components and LED lights to help illuminate this view.

In Convertible models, the hard top can be put back while going at speeds of up to 30 miles per hour.

Even storage has been re-engineered. The all-new front cargo area, or Frunk, as our friends at Chevrolet call it, is large enough to carry an airline overhead bag, while the trunk can hold two golf bags, or the roof panel of coupe models.

In addition to the change in ride that the mid-engine provides, the all new body structure is also 10% stiffer than the previous generation, adding to the improved ride and confident handling.

Every single detail of the 2020 Chevrolet Corvette C8 is designed to provide a natural driving experience tailored specifically to you. Why Mid-Engine?

Good question. The all new mid-engine configuration of the 2020 Chevrolet Corvette provides never before seen resposiveness and driving unrivaled even by the likes of Lotus and Ferrari. The new engine placement provides a rear weigh bias, meaning more power gets directed to the rear where it matters most, and puts the windhsield over the front wheels to improve the downforce without the need to add a front air dam.

We know what you're here for. Let's talk performance.

The 2020 Corvette C8 features 495 horsepower and 470 lb-feet of torque. Before we even talk about the other performance advancements, just know that makes it the most powerful production Stingray, ever.

This combination gives the Corvette a top speeof 194 miles per hour, and a 0-60 time of 2.9 seconds. Oh, and a quarter mile time of 11.2 seconds. How's that for fast?

It's true, there is no stick shift option available. That's for two reasons. First - It's not safe to put 3 peddles into the new foot well. Second - the Dual Clutch Transmission shifts at lighting fast speeds, helping support fast lap times and ensuring there's no deceleration between shifts.

Add the Z51 Package and get some fun add ons:

Summer only performance tires

Massive brakes

Front splitter

Performance Exhaust

Available Magnetic Ride Control

While we're on the subject, let's chat about Magnetic Ride Control. This feature, available as an add on to the Z51 Performance package adds a next-generation damping system that reads the road every millisecond you're driving and adapts in as little as 10 milliseconds. The innovative suspension aligns and beocmes rigid in an instant, giving you the confidence to push harder while knowing you'll stay planted on the road.

It's not so much an infotainment system (though it does have Chevrolet Infotainment), it's more of a command center. The 8-inch tocuh-screen incorporates all your driver information and features three distrinct themes. One of the more advanced features is Front Lift. This add on raises the front of your Corvette up to 2 inches off the ground in LESS THAN 2 SECONDS to ensure you clear potholes, speed bumps, steep driveways and more. Not only does it make sure you don't scrape your front end, it will remember up to 1,000 locations so you only have to do it manually once.

Additional technology features:

12-inch diagonal reconfigurable digital instrument display to incorporate your driver information and driver themes.

Available enhanced navigation with 3D View.

Available Bose Performance Series 14-speaker audio

Simplified bluetooth pairing with NFC

4G LTE Wi-Fi Connection
